About First Magnus

 

First Magnus was founded in 1996 by Tom Sullivan Sr., Tom Sullivan Jr. and G.S. Jaggi and was one of the largest national companies based in Tucson.  The national mortgage lender was on track to fund $36 billion in loans in 2007, prior to suspending operations.  The closure also included retail outlets Charter Funding and Great Southwest Mortgage.  The Arizona Department of Financial Institutions later filed a complaint Friday against First Magnus and its subsidiaries, looking to fine the company for its abrupt closing.
